Welcome! We are committed to providing exceptional photography services to our clients and creating a safe and respectful environment for all. This policy outlines important terms and guidelines for clients, models, and our photography team.
1. Client Policies
a. Booking and Deposits:
- To secure a photography session, clients are required to pay a non-refundable deposit ($75).
b. Cancellations and Rescheduling:
- Notice Period: Clients must provide a minimum of 72 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling at a cost of $60 to the client.
- Rescheduling Limits: One reschedule allowed per booking, subject to photographer availability.
- Weather Conditions: Outdoor shoots may be rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions.
- Refunds: Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to future bookings if rescheduled within the notice period
c. Privacy and Copyright:
- Clients are granted personal usage rights for the photographs but do not acquire copyright unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
d. Model Releases:
- Clients should be aware that certain shoots may require model releases for commercial use. We will discuss this during the booking process.
3. Model Policies
a. Model Safety and Comfort:
- We prioritize the safety and comfort of our models. Any concerns or boundaries should be communicated openly with our photography team.
b. Compensation and Usage Rights:
- Compensation terms and usage rights will be outlined in the model release agreement before the shoot.
c. Age Verification:
- Models must provide age verification if required by law for specific types of photography.
4. Photographer Responsibilities
a. Professionalism:
- Our photography team is committed to professionalism, respect, and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and models.
b. Quality and Delivery:
- We strive to deliver high-quality photographs within the agreed-upon timeframe. Additionally, we take pride in our unique artistic style. While we aim to meet clients' preferences, subjective dissatisfaction with editing style is not considered grounds for a refund. We encourage open communication to align expectations prior to the shoot.
c. Confidentiality:
- Client and model information, as well as any sensitive data, will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
5. Dispute Resolution
a. Client and Model Concerns:
- Any concerns or disputes should be communicated promptly to CBC via email at "capturedbychai@gmail.com". We will work to resolve issues amicably.
6. Changes to Policies
a. Policy Updates:
- We reserve the right to update this policy as necessary. Clients, models, and website visitors are encouraged to review it periodically.
